CRM
Stampede
Stampede is a hospitality guest-engagement platform that brings Wi-Fi sign-ins, bookings, payments, marketing, reviews and loyalty information into shared guest profiles. It is aimed mainly at restaurants, bars and other food and drink venues, with some hotel customers. Modules and connections vary, so the complete platform should not be assumed to be included in every proposal.
Independent perspective
Our review
Stampede brings guest data capture, bookings and marketing into one platform. Venue Wi-Fi can help build the contact database, while email, text campaigns, loyalty and review requests give the team ways to use it. We see its strongest value in busy restaurants, bars and hotel outlets where repeat visits matter and someone will actively manage the campaigns.
Our main reservation for hotels is the separation from the PMS. The connections confirmed in our recorded review were Roller, Dice and Square; a hotel reception-system connection was not established. Operators should not assume that room history or booking channel data reaches the marketing record. The recorded contract also carries a twelve-month commitment with the remaining balance due on early exit.
Public feedback is mixed: recent operators praise onboarding, centralised data and support, while other customers describe unresolved faults, booking problems or Wi-Fi disruption. We would test the guest journey and escalation arrangements on the proposed setup, and obtain security and commercial details in writing.
Our verdict
We recommend considering Stampede for food-led venues and hotel outlets with useful footfall and an owner for guest marketing. It is less suited to a hotel seeking a joined-up rooms database or a site with unreliable connectivity. The return depends on using the guest data well, rather than collecting it alone.
The assessment
What stands out
Strengths
Connects venue visits to marketing. Wi-Fi, booking and payment activity can help operators understand repeat guests and send more relevant communications.
Built for hospitality venues. Bookings, loyalty, review requests and marketing workflows reflect restaurant and bar use cases.
Creates one guest profile. Joined-up records can reduce separate lists across Wi-Fi, bookings, reviews and loyalty.
Offers practical review management. Google review requests, AI-assisted replies and service-recovery workflows sit alongside the guest record.
Worth knowing
Stampede is primarily designed for food and beverage venues. Hotels should confirm exactly what connects to their PMS, because Wi-Fi and restaurant guest records do not automatically become useful reception or stay data.
The platform covers several modules. Confirm bookings, Wi-Fi hardware, payments, marketing allowances, loyalty, reviews, setup and support within the quoted price.
Independent review coverage is thin. Ten G2 reviews are broadly positive about ease of use, setup and automation, but mention performance, customisation and cost. Six Trustpilot reviews are too few for a reliable score, although recent complaints about Wi-Fi reliability, communication and support should be tested carefully with references.

- Manage restaurant bookings and guest engagement across multiple venues.
Best suited for
Restaurants, bars, pubs and food-led hospitality groups that want to connect guest Wi-Fi, bookings, loyalty, reviews and repeat-visit marketing.
May not suit
Hotels seeking a stay-focused CRM or reliable PMS data exchange without a proven connection, and very small venues that will not actively use the marketing and guest-data functions.
