Newhotel Cloud PMS is the cloud-based property management product within the wider Newhotel hotel software suite. It covers reservations, front desk work, room assignment, billing and hotel reporting. Multi-hotel, point of sale, business intelligence, revenue management, channel management and other functions are available as connected Newhotel modules rather than being assumed to be part of the core PMS.

Our review

Newhotel offers a broad hotel suite covering reception, POS, stock, spa, events and other operational functions. For a property with several substantial departments, a shared supplier and ledger can reduce the number of separate systems to coordinate. We see breadth as its main attraction, rather than a reason for every small hotel to adopt the full suite.

Our main reservation is the evidence needed for a UK buying decision. The independent feedback located is limited and includes an older individual review. Our recorded research did not establish comparable UK references, a UK support presence, written pricing or complete contract terms. Published partner logos also did not explain connection behaviour, ownership or cost.

We would test everyday reception, housekeeping, distribution and departmental billing with the actual team. Establish which modules are needed, the full cost, support arrangements and a reference property with similar complexity. A comprehensive suite must still make the hotel’s daily work easier.

Our verdict

We recommend considering Newhotel where a hotel has genuine spa, events or food and beverage complexity and wants to assess a broad suite. It is less suited to a small property seeking a simple reception system or an operator needing established UK references before progressing. Its breadth should solve a real operational need.

Broad hotel operating scope. The Cloud PMS covers reservations, arrivals, room assignment, billing, accounts receivable and day-to-day hotel reporting.

A suite approach. Hotels can add Newhotel modules for POS, stock, events, spa, channel management, booking engine, revenue management and business intelligence.

Group operation is supported. The supplier publishes central reservations, consolidated availability and transfers between hotels through its Multi-Hotel module.

Long hospitality track record. Newhotel publishes more than 6,000 customers and a presence in more than 50 countries, although supplier figures are not independent verification of service quality.

Worth knowing

This listing covers Newhotel Cloud PMS. Newhotel Prime is a separate on-premise product and should not be treated as the same deployment.

Several functions needed for a complete stack, including POS, business intelligence and multi-hotel management, are separate modules. Ask for the full proposed architecture, module list, interfaces and price rather than comparing the core PMS alone.

Independent public feedback is extremely limited. The available G2 profile contains one review, so claims about ease of use or weaknesses cannot be treated as a broad consensus. UK implementation coverage and important third-party connections should be confirmed directly.
