Mercury Support

Mercury Support combines UK compliance consultancy with a cloud platform for hospitality and other regulated sectors. Named advisers support health and safety, food safety, incidents, licensing, HR and training, while the platform manages audits, scheduled checks, risk assessments, assets, evidence, actions and reporting across one or several sites.

Independent perspective

Our review

Mercury Support’s strongest proposition is a practical advisory relationship backed by one place to hold compliance records. Its recorded scope includes food safety, health and safety, licensing and employment matters, with advisers from environmental health backgrounds. For a small food-led group, a shared view of each venue’s position could make it easier to follow up issues and prepare evidence.

Our main reservation is the platform’s short track record. It launched in March 2026, although the advisory business predates it. Our review did not establish published pricing, contract terms or security details, and no connections to other hospitality systems were confirmed. Those are questions to settle before deciding what the complete service is worth.

We would use a demonstration to follow a real inspection issue from recording through to action and resolution. Agree who provides advice, the response arrangements and how records can be exported. The value lies in accessible expertise and reliable follow-up, not simply storing documents.

Our verdict

We recommend considering Mercury Support for independent restaurants, bars and small venue groups that want specialist advice alongside their records. It is less suited to a rooms-led hotel seeking established hotel platform references or automatic connections to its PMS and workforce systems.

The assessment

What stands out

Strengths

Combines software with human advice. Operators can record and monitor compliance while retaining access to qualified advisers when judgement is needed.

Covers practical site workflows. Audits, scheduled checks, risk assessments, incident records, assets, documents and corrective actions sit within one platform.

Supports multi-site visibility. Group dashboards, site-level scores, permissions, alerts and benchmarking help central teams identify gaps.

Offers managed migration and setup. Mercury says it can move existing audits, documents, training records and evidence while configuring the platform around the operator.

Worth knowing

Mercury Support is both a managed service and a platform. Buyers should separate the software modules, consultancy, training and round-the-clock advice in the proposal so they know what is included and who responds to each type of issue.

The supplier now publishes a broader platform than older material suggested, including multilingual use, incidents, AI summaries and multi-site controls. It still does not publish a dependable integration directory, so links with rota, HR, maintenance or other operational systems should not be assumed.

No substantial independent product-review corpus was found. Public testimonials and client examples are supplier-selected. Confirm pricing, service levels, professional scope, data security, migration responsibility and references from similar hotel or food-and-beverage operations.

Operational fit

Where it fits

  • Run and score audits, checks and corrective actions across one or multiple sites.
  • Maintain risk assessments, asset records, incidents and supporting evidence.
  • Give central teams dashboards, alerts and drill-down visibility of compliance gaps.
  • Access human compliance guidance alongside the operational platform.

Best suited for

UK hospitality operators and multi-site groups that want compliance records, scheduled checks and incident management backed by accessible human advisers.

May not suit

Businesses seeking software alone at a published self-service price, international operators needing advice outside the service's legal expertise, and buyers requiring integrations Mercury cannot demonstrate.

EHM identifies named specialist advisers, consolidated evidence and a clear site/group view as useful operational strengths. The lack of integrations is a separate limitation.
